Daily duties includes performing truck checks and maintenance, station cleaning, cleaning and sharpening tools, cleaning air filters, sharpening chainsaws, using power and hand tools such as; Mark 3 pump, chainsaws, Pulaski’s, rogues, shovels, pounders, dolmars, drip torch. Performs project work, thinning, bucking, brushing, and limbing trees. Responds to fires for Initial Attack and digs line, preparation, uses a chainsaw, swamps, and suppresses fire. Felling hazard trees, removing brush, trees and fuels to create a fire break. Bucking and limbing trees.
